Custom plugins and API integrations
Bespoke WordPress and WooCommerce plugins, and integrations with the third-party APIs and systems your business runs on.
Starting from
$400
- Fixed price, agreed up front
- Pay in instalments
- Progress in your client portal
- Free support after launch
Who it's for
- WordPress and WooCommerce stores that need something no off-the-shelf plugin does well
- Large stores where extra plugins add bloat
- Businesses whose website needs to talk to a payment gateway, ERP, CRM, courier or booking system
Problems it solves
- Checkout rules, pricing or product options that existing plugins can't handle
- Manual copying of orders, stock or customers between systems
- Integrations that fail without anyone noticing
When an off-the-shelf plugin can't do what your business needs, I build one that does: custom WordPress and WooCommerce plugins for checkout rules, pricing, bookings, product options, custom admin screens and anything in between. They follow WordPress coding standards, stay lean so your site stays fast, and keep working through core and WooCommerce updates.
I also connect your site to the services you already use: payment gateways, ERP and accounting systems, CRMs, courier and shipping APIs, booking platforms and marketing tools. Orders, stock, customers and invoices sync automatically through REST APIs, webhooks and scheduled jobs, with clear logs so nothing fails silently.
Every plugin comes with a simple settings screen for your team and clean, documented code.
What you get
- A custom plugin for your checkout rules, pricing, bookings, product options or admin screens
- Code that follows WordPress coding standards and stays lightweight
- Integrations using REST APIs, webhooks and scheduled jobs, with logs that show when something fails
- A simple settings screen for your team
- Documented code
About the price
Smaller plugins and integrations start from the price shown. Larger builds, such as a full loyalty programme, are quoted on their scope.
For integrations I usually ask for sandbox or test access first, so everything can be tested safely before it touches live data.
A recent project like this

A loyalty points plugin and a smoother shop for a 28,000-product anime store
AniWays sells anime figures, statues and trading cards to collectors in Portugal and Spain. I built AniPoints, a custom WooCommerce loyalty plugin with ranks, cashback and point redemption, and fixed Add to Cart and the wishlist across a catalogue of more than 28,000 products.
Read the case study“Outstanding work. Shahid fixed and stabilised our API importer, and the improvement was clear immediately. Products are now importing smoothly, the plugin is more reliable, and he even improved the plugin interface, making it cleaner and easier to understand. Great communication, professional approach, and very careful with staging, backups and testing. Highly recommended. 5 stars.”
After launch
Free support after launch is included. How long it lasts is agreed in the proposal, typically from one month up to six months, depending on the size of the project. After that, a care plan can cover testing and updates as WordPress and WooCommerce change.
Questions clients ask
How much does a custom plugin cost?
Small plugins and integrations start from $400. Larger plugins, such as a full loyalty points programme with ranks and campaigns, are quoted on scope. You get a fixed-price proposal with the scope, timeline and a payment plan in instalments, which you can accept online. You can follow progress and milestones in your client portal.
Why a custom plugin instead of an off-the-shelf one?
A custom plugin does exactly what your business needs, matches your branding, and avoids the extra weight and conflicts of large multi-purpose plugins, which matters on big stores.
Which APIs can you integrate?
Payment providers, ERP and accounting systems, shipping carriers, CRMs, marketing tools and most services with a documented REST API. I usually ask for sandbox access first so the integration is tested safely.
Will the plugin keep working after WordPress updates?
Plugins follow WordPress and WooCommerce coding standards, so they update cleanly. A care plan can cover testing and updates as WordPress and WooCommerce change.
